Rehearsal Plan Template
This form presents a lesson planner designed by an administrator who observed many music teachers and their accompanying paper work. It includes boxes typical of admin forms used for observations in many districts. Having boxes for Objectives and Standards addressed inform the observer (and teacher) of the overall goals for the lesson. The Music Rehearsal Plan Template has areas for warm up and intro activities, as well as closing announcements and an after the lesson reflection area to encourage teachers to be intentional about what their goals were, and if they actually achieved them. This could also be displayed on a Smart Board to keep the class informed of the objectives as they go through class, and keep the teacher on task with the expected amount of time to spend on each lesson part.
