I had a busy fall and like many of you settle into winter and get ready for the ’26 seasons. Besides traveling a bit and judging marching band shows, I had the honor of teaching the Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps alumni group and marched alongside them at the 2025 Macy’s -> Thanksgiving Parade in NYC. Great to see so many past students and current members all working together.
I’d also like to shout out to all the Southwind Alumni who joined us for this parade. The Southwind Project that Spartans continue to commit to allowed for an even more memorable experience. I met so many folks from that organization alongside the Spartan family – great people, and so grateful they joined us.
