There are many downloadable ‘Beats’ charts’ online, but due to copyright issues I felt I had to create my own version to share. I think this is correct and presented visually to make each beat/groove easy to read and practice. If you find any mistakes or need clarification, feel free to email me. Breaking these down into genres helps students to make connections between concepts (rock, swing, Latin).
