This handout should be in all your woodwinds music folder, especially singe reed players. Knowing how to extend the life of their reeds makes for better music but will also save them a lot of money over time. It does NOT address reed sizes, mouthpiece choices, or ligatures – all equally important to producing a great sound. Encourage them to have their own ->mouthpiece brush or their own cleaning kit.
